Plan First
The Financial Planning Process Minimize

At our first meeting, we will determine how we can be most helpful to you, get acquainted and consider working together to chart your financial future.

The initial step is to collect information – such as your latest tax return, bank statements and your employer benefits package – so that we can determine your current financial status. All of your information remains completely confidential and secure.

We will:

  • Discuss and understand your priorities, goals and philosophy.
  • Understand your fears, dreams and concerns so that we can help you live the life you have always dreamed of and worked so hard to achieve.
  • Analyze your current situation and evaluate your needs, which may include investments, retirement savings and insurance.
  • Show you how to best provide for your child's education.
  • Bring your retirement into clear focus.
  • Make sure your loved ones are protected in the event of disability or death.

The next step is for us to present a draft of your personal financial plan. We’ll go over the plan together to ensure that we are on the same page. The draft is refined as required, and then we carefully prepare your plan – including recommendations for implementation.

We’ll consolidate and begin actively managing your resources. Then we’ll arrange and coordinate any efforts by your other legal or tax advisors for any work that may be required for estate planning. And along the way we’ll involve your accountant and other professionals.

The process doesn’t end there. We want to become an indispensable part of your life. We want to be the first and only call you need to make to stay on top of your financial affairs. We will continue to review your plan and investments, provide periodic performance reports and portfolio appraisals, and meet with you regularly – all to make sure that your plan continues to meet your goals.

We promise to be responsive. We feel strongly that we must be easy to reach. Our staff is trained to understand who at our firm is best equipped to solve any problem that may arise, but we know that sometimes you just need to talk to your advisor. We will gather the proper resources as quickly as we can.
